The SUMMER ECLIPSE project (Summer Educational Courses in Lodz – Institutional Paradigm in Studying Economics) is an intensive international educational programme implemented at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Lodz, under the NAWA SPINAKER scheme.
The project runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 July 2026.

Main objectives

• To increase the internationalisation of education at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology.
• To promote the Master’s programme in Economics among international students.
• To test a short educational format ending with a micro‑credential.

The programme builds on the Faculty’s 25‑year tradition of summer schools and responds to the declining interest in second‑cycle studies in a demographically shrinking region.
It also supports the University of Lodz strategy of attracting more international students and developing modern forms of education.
