SUMMER ECLIPSE

SUMMER ECLIPSE is an international academic programme organised by the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź from 22 June to 2 July 2026. The programme focuses on institutional economics, covering the history and evolution of institutionalism, research methods and the application of institutional concepts at national, global and firm levels.

Lectures are delivered in English by academic staff from the Institute of Economics and invited practitioners. Participants will also take part in a practical LSEG Workspace micro-module and, upon successful completion of the programme, will receive a certificate, 3 ECTS credits and a micro-certificate relating to the use of the LSEG Workspace platform.

The summer school is primarily aimed at undergraduate students studying economics, finance and related subjects, particularly those who wish to broaden their knowledge of institutional economics and explore opportunities for further study at the University of Łódź. The programme combines academic content, practical skills and an international learning environment.

It also offers an opportunity to meet the international academic and student community, exchange experiences and get to know the study environment at the University of Łódź.
