Summer School Eclipse

Summer School Eclipse is an international academic programme organised by the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz from 23 June to 1 July 2026. The programme focuses on institutional economics, including the history and evolution of institutionalism, research methods, and the application of institutional concepts at the national, global and firm level.

Classes are conducted in English by academic staff of the Institute of Economics and invited practitioners. Participants will also take part in a practical LSEG Workspace micro-module and, upon successful completion of the programme, will receive a certificate, 3 ECTS credits and a micro-credential related to the use of the LSEG Workspace platform.

The Summer School is addressed mainly to undergraduate students in economics, finance and related fields, especially those interested in expanding their knowledge in institutional economics and exploring future study opportunities at the University of Lodz. The programme combines academic content, practical skills and an international learning environment.

It is also an opportunity to meet the international academic and student community, exchange experiences, and get to know the academic environment at the University of Łódź.
